Nadja's bold drawings tell the emotionally evocative story of a young girl's attachment to a stray dog who proves his fierce loyalty by defending her from the dangerous spirit of the forest. With vivid elements of magic and darkness, this story could be too intense for young children, but others will love the heroism and triumph as the blue dog earns his place in the child's family.
