Bonsoir Lune/Goodnight Moon has been around for seventy years now, and will probably endure for many more. It is linguistically simplistic but rhythmic, alternating the simple black-and-white images with full-color scenes of a darkening bedroom at dusk. The illumination of the final pages is magical, and even in French, it ends with a rhyme.
