Jeanne Ashbé's experience as a language therapist has given her such insight into the perspectives of toddlers and preschoolers. Her books are a delight for adults too--full of humor but also 100% useful as sweet, educational tools. This book, Au revoir, teaches little ones about the times they will need to say goodbye (to a parent, to a playmate, etc.) and also gives follow-up vocabulary and manners ("Thank you--next time you can come to our home!"). I adore her charming way of teaching young children how to handle new or difficult situations.
